NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE SUTTER COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION

Notice is given that at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2004, in the City of Yuba City City Council Chambers at 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, the Sutter County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will conduct a public hearing on the following items:

LAFCO-03-10: Nicolaus Cemetery District Municipal Service Review and Sphere of Influence Update. In accordance with Government Code Section 56425(f), Sutter LAFCO is conducting a municipal service review and sphere of influence update for the Nicolaus Cemetery District. The review evaluates the services provided by the District, its service area and service needs as well as its sphere of influence.   

Copies of the Executive Officer's report on this proposal will be available at the Local Agency Formation Commission's office (Sutter County Community Services Department), 1130 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, CA, fives day prior to the hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their opinions or provide written comments. If you challenge the proposed projects in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
