NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE SUTTER COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION

Notice is given that at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2004, in the City of Yuba City City Council Chambers at 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, the Sutter County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will conduct a public hearing on the following item:

LAFCO #03-04: Northeast Yuba City Reorganization No. 316 - Sutter LAFCO has received an application to reconsider its action of January 22, 2004 (Resolution no. 2004-02), approving the proposal to annex 232± acres to Yuba City and detachment of the property from County Service Area "G". The affected territory is generally described as those unincorporated lands lying east of State Highway 99, west of and including Live Oak Boulevard, north of the current city limits and extending north of Pease Road 1,200± feet.

Copies of the Executive Officer's report on this matter will be available at the Local Agency Formation Commission's office (Sutter County Community Services Department), 1130 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, CA, fives day prior to the hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their opinions or provide written comments. If you challenge the proposed project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
