NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE SUTTER COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION

Notice is given that at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2004, in the City of Yuba City City Council Chambers at 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, the Sutter County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will conduct a public hearing on the following item:

LAFCO-03-04: Northeast Yuba City Reorganization No. 316 - A reorganization proposing to annex 154± acres to Yuba City lying southeast of the intersection of Pease Road and State Highway 99, west of Live Oak Boulevard, and north of the current City limits and detach the property from County Service Area G. The Commission may consider expanding the boundaries of the proposal to include those lands lying 1,200± feet north of Pease Road, east of State Highway 99, and west of Live Oak Boulevard, comprising 79± additional acres to the annexation boundary.

Copies of the Executive Officer's reports on this proposal will be available at the Local Agency Formation Commission's office (Sutter County Community Services Department), 1130 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, CA, fives day prior to the hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their opinions or provide written comments. If you challenge the proposed projects in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
