NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE SUTTER COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION

Notice is given that at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2003, in the City of Yuba City City Council Chambers at 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, the Sutter County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will conduct a public hearing on the following item:

LAFCO-03-03: A reorganization of territory designated as the South Yuba City Reorganization No. 315. Sutter LAFCO has received a filing for reconsideration for its resolution adopted on September 25, 2003, approving the South Yuba City Reorganization. The filing requests LAFCO to reconsider its decision to include Assessor’s Parcel 22-072-043, comprising 12.73 acres, and located at 1146 Lincoln Road in the annexation and asks that this parcel be excluded from the reorganization.

Copies of the Executive Officer's report on this matter will be available at the Local Agency Formation Commission's office (Sutter County Community Services Department), 1130 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, CA, fives day prior to the hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their opinions or provide written comments. If you challenge the proposed project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
